Missing Teeth?

Tooth loss can occur from a number of factors, such as facial trauma, a bad fall, or simply from severe tooth decay. No matter the reason or how significant the tooth loss, missing teeth can negatively impact your appearance and self-confidence. As times goes on, unaddressed tooth loss can also lead to other serious issues that may require more extensive dental work.

At Every Smile, we offer dental implants and customized restorations to replace missing teeth. Whether you are missing one tooth or an entire row of teeth, we have what you need to restore your smile back to full function. Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone. As they integrate with surrounding tissues, they will become a natural part of your jawbone and provide a firm foundation for either a dental crown, dental bridge, or denture.

Have Stained Teeth?

How to achieve a brighter smile is one of the more commonly asked questions at dental offices today. Though enamel is durable, over time it can start to yellow and stain, making your pearly whites not so bright. This is typically the result of age, genetics, and the foods and beverages you consume. When dental staining and discoloration have only affected the outer layer of your tooth, we recommend professional teeth whitening. For this treatment, the dentist will take impressions of your smile so that customized trays can be designed. Once they are completed, you will be sent home with a whitening gel that should be used in combination with your trays. For the most effective results, trays should be worn overnight or at least 30 minute a day. Professional teeth whitening provides faster results than over-the-counter options, and limits your risk for dental sensitivity and gum irritation.

Want a Straighter Smile?

Crooked and unevenly spaced teeth are harder to hide than some other cosmetic imperfections, and can affect adults just as much as adolescents, perhaps even more so. We understand that as an adult, traditional metal braces may not be a viable option for your budget, lifestyle, or timeframe. In such cases, we offer Invisalign®. This orthodontic solution uses clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into proper alignment. Because they are made from clear plastic and fit closely against your teeth, they are virtually invisible. Some of the other great benefits include:

  • Easy maintenance
  • Removability of aligners
  • No food restrictions
  • More comfortable than traditional braces

The average timeline is completed in about 12 to 15 months, but will depend on the severity of your misalignment and how diligently you wear your aligners.

Have a Variety of Imperfections?

If you have teeth that are severely stained, crooked, unevenly spaced, or chipped – we offer veneers. Made from thin porcelain, these customized shells will bond to the front of your tooth to conceal a variety of blemishes. Each shell will be shade-matched to your natural enamel, and fabricated to blend with the aesthetics of your smile. To achieve even more dramatic results, you can undergo teeth whitening beforehand.

Invisalign for Teens & Adults

Invisalign is a great option for adults and teens who don’t want traditional metal braces. Many find metal braces unattractive and come with a long list of directions to ensure that they work. Not to mention, many people feel some discomfort while wearing metal braces. With Invisalign, you’re able to straighten your smile without all the hassle of metal brackets and wires. Invisalign is a comfortable alternative to metal braces and consists of transparent, smooth plastic aligners that sit on top of your teeth. Similar to traditional braces, Invisalign adjusts your teeth into their proper placement, leaving you with the smile that you’ve always dreamed about.

Invisalign is a great option for many teens and adults. Dr. Lee and Dr. Proctor are excited to begin the Invisalign process with you. Call our office in Chandler, AZ at 480-732-7874 to schedule your consultation.

Invisalign for Adults

Invisalign is the go-to option for adults who need help adjusting their smile. This braces alternative leaves adults looking professional while straightening and perfecting their smile. Invisalign is also less restrictive to care for than traditional metal braces and allows for a more discreet fix for adults who feel uncomfortable with metal braces.

Not only does Invisalign fix gapped teeth, it also helps realign crooked smiles and correct problems with bites, such as overbites and under bites. A misaligned bite can cause teeth grinding (bruxism), TMJ disorder, frequently biting your tongue and cheeks, and speech problems. Some people experience a little bit of a lisp when they first begin wearing their Invisaligns, however this should go away as your mouth gets used to the aligners.

Invisalign for Teens

Although Invisalign is a great option for adults, it is the ideal choice for older teens. This aesthetically pleasing braces alternative allows teens the freedom to eat what they choose, while still working to gradually shift the teeth to create a perfect smile. There are many perks associated with Invisalign, but one is that it’s easy to maintain and keep clean. Caring for your aligners is as simple as brushing them daily and rinsing them under lukewarm water after you eat.

Invisalign won’t interfere with your daily dental routine, since you can easily remove the aligners when it’s time to brush and floss your teeth each morning and night. For teens who participate in contact sports, yet still need to perfect their smile, Invisalign aligners are the ideal solution; they can be removed during game time to make room for a mouth guard.

Invisalign for teens also includes a number of free replacement aligners, as teens’ busy lifestyles can often lead to lost aligners. Another feature is the the visible blue dot on Invisalign for teens’ aligners, which gradually vanishes as the aligner is worn. This feature shows you whether your child has been wearing the aligners the full recommended 20-22 hours per day, which is necessary for treatment to progress on schedule.

What to Expect at a Consultation

After you schedule your consult with Dr. Lee , we will discuss what you’re unhappy about regarding your smile. After we discuss your concerns, we will take some digital imaging scans to help us create the perfect treatment plan for you. We will send the scans and treatment plan off to the Invisalign lab, where lab technicians will create your individually unique set of progressive aligners.

You’ll wear your Invisalign set for the majority of the day, roughly 20-22 hours, so we want to make sure that they fit your mouth perfectly.

You will receive multiple sets and will be expected to change your set bi-weekly.  Dr. Lee will want to see you every 6 weeks to keep an eye on your progress as you shift your way into your perfect smile. Treatment usually lasts between 12 and 18 months, but remember Invisalign is discreet and comfortable, so we’re sure that the time will fly by. After your treatment is over, you’ll be asked to wear a retainer to keep your new smile from shifting back to it’s original position.
